Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! We had a nice Christmas with some of our family. Mary, Louise and Jim joined us at our home for the week. Mason was truly excited about Christmas and Santa this year. He loved everything from the Christmas lights to the Christmas movies...and I don't think I even need to mention how much he enjoyed the present! It was very exciting to watching how thrilled he was getting cookies and milk ready for Santa. It is a little bitter sweet know it is the last Christmas that it will be just us and Mason. Next year there will be two more wild men waiting for Santa's arrival...still can't believe that!
Mason got some great gifts from all the grandparents and they are helping keep Mason entertained while I am on bed rest. I did make one trip to the end of the block to watch Mason take his first ride on a BIG boy bike (one of Santa's gift). I couldn't miss my baby's first bike ride! He did great and quickly got the hang of it.
Not too many plans for the new year. I have two doctor appointments Wednesday, so we will see if this "oh so fun" bed rest is helping to stop the dilation and contractions. Mark is working a new shift til February and then will go to days for six months (YIPPEE). Mason is starting preschool T Ball on January 12th, that should be very interesting. Hoping to make it to Cali in February for a baby shower for the twins (if my uterus allows)! Have a happy & safe New Year!
