The twins have arrived....YIPEE! I went to my 36 week appointment and the OBs office and my blood pressure had gotten way to high. They had been watching it closely because the same thing happened at the end of my pregnancy with Mason. So off to the hospital I went to meet our little ones! I was induced right away and the boys arrived the next morning 9 minutes apart!
The boys weighted in at Ethan 5lbs 13oz 19 in long and Logan 5lbs 5oz and 18 1/2 in long. The boys had to spend two weeks in the hospital because they were 4 weeks early. We were dealing with breathing issues at first those resolved after a few days and then just feeding issues. They had to master the whole suck swallow thing! Their stay kept us very busy we tried to make it to most of their feedings at the hospital so we were there every 3 hours and then run home to spend time with Mase. Thank goodness we had help from our family! It was very hard not to be able to bring them home with us! But, on Mother's Day we brought them home!!!! Mason has been doing very well with the two new additions, he doesn't like touching them too much but is very helpful. Ethan and Logan are growing and doing very well. We are tired and doing lots and lots of laundry but thankful to have them in our lives.
